10am Multi-Age Family Service
10am Erina Kids and Creche
Erina Kids is a place where children can learn, connect, grow, pray, and experience God in a safe place. We have dedicated lessons for children between the ages of 3 years to 12+.
We are currently using a program called ‘The Gospel Project’ which is a chronological, Christ- centred Bible study for pre-schoolers and children that examines how all scripture gives testimony to Jesus Christ.
Erina Kids runs during the 10am service throughout the term. It will be announced in the service when parents can take their children out to the Kids Church held in the preschool rooms. Parents will need to register and sign in their children.
The Children begin their Kids Church together with some songs/ games and then split into smaller groups for their planned lesson.
Cooee: 3 years to Year 1 and Impact: Year 2 to Year 6.
During the school holidays the format changes slightly with all ages 3+ join together for a less formal lesson and activity.
Children under the age of 3 years are cared for by carers in our crèche during the school term. You are welcomed to take your child to crèche at the same time that Erina Kids is announced.
During the week
Footprints Early Learning Centre is one of the Central Coast's most respected Preschools, and has been operating since 1978. The centre's love and care of your children, its development programme, its facilities, and the spiritual values that we share offer great assurances for any parent making the all-important difficult decision of choosing a preschool.
A fun group for young children (aged from birth to school age) and their caregivers held at ECBC each Wednesday 9.30am-11am in school terms. Young children and their parents/caregivers join together for a fun, thirty-minute music
session, then afterwards enjoy morning tea in a relaxed setting.
Kids Zone is held at the church every Friday afternoon from 4pm- 5:30pm during school term. It is for children in Years 4, 5, and 6. It is a time where children are free to have fun and develop friendships while learning and growing in their faith. These preteen years are vital in faith development, friendship forming, and decision making.
Girls' Brigade is for all school-age girls from kindergarten to Year 12. It creates an atmosphere of fun where girls can do girl things and spend time together. Each age group conducts special activities that work towards 'badges' and other achievement awards. One of its main activities is the organising of 'Operation Christmas Child' which compiles shoeboxes of gifts to give to underprivileged children throughout the world.
A group of committed people from ECBC venture into the local schools each week to teach Special Religious Education, commonly known as Scripture. In most of the schools, children are taught in classes which are comprised of children from various denominations. SRE teachers come from many local churches and work together to bring the Gospel to the children, using relevant and interesting curriculum materials. Each year, Easter and Christmas assemblies are organised to celebrate these Christian festivals with the children and teachers. Gifted children’s speakers/artists/puppeteers are often invited to present a message, which the children thoroughly enjoy.
4TwelveYouth and 412AD we are all about enabling you to meet Jesus, know Him and serve Him through evangelism, fellowship, ministry, discipleship and worship and also by building Christ-like relationships that glorify and honour Christ.
4TwelveYouth and 412AD also known collectively as 4Twelve Ministries.
Home Growth Groups
We have a number of Growth Groups that meet in homes around the area, usually on a weekly basis. Their purpose is to study the Bible and discuss what they read, and to learn more of its life-changing message.
Know Your Bible studies develop Christian women in their knowledge of the Bible and in their own Christian journey. There are over 2,300 groups throughout Australia that meet for group discussion and to hear their leader's introduction and summary. Our group meets on Monday mornings at 10am until 12 noon.
Each month a group of men meet over morning tea to hear a speaker share his life story. It is also an enjoyable time of relaxation and fellowship, where men can talk about men's issues and support each other in the living of life.
We are reaching out to men in the community to build a place for them where they can share their experiences and skills with other like-minded men. It is a safe place for them to do woodworking tasks, gardening and metalwork. We will be a community shed supporting men who otherwise may find it hard to meet others and have somewhere to go and share experiences with their mates. It is a place where help and understanding can be possible.
